Tier 1 Midget AAA Hockey

History:

The Boston Junior Rangers were formed in 2004 as a spring/summer select team that competed in tournaments in the U.S. and Canada. The team was composed of top players from all over North America. Many of those players have gone on to play NCAA hockey and Major Junior. Many alumni have even been drafted into the NHL. In 2008 the program expanded into a full season Midget AAA program competing against the top Midget AAA and Junior teams in the country. In 2009 we were invited by the North American Hockey League (NAHL) to become a founding member of their NAPHL Tier 1 Midget league. We have had great success both seasons moving our players to Jr A and D3 hockey. For the 2009/10 season, 15 of our 20 U-18’s are moving on to Jr A in leagues all across North America.

Our mission is to develop a complete hockey player in an environment where his skill, team play, and mental toughness will be challenged and nurtured. Players will be developed for success in Junior A Hockey, NCAA Hockey, and the NHL.

Recruitment:

The Boston Junior Rangers seek mature, dedicated and focused hockey players for their U-16 and  U-18 teams. We recruit players from all over the U.S., Canada and Europe. We are looking for young men of character who are committed to high athletic and academic standards.
